Implementation Science Approach

At Bloom Pathways, we believe the Implementation Science framework provides a strong foundation for Restorative Practices professional development because it shifts the focus from simply learning restorative strategies to ensuring those strategies are consistently and effectively implemented in real-world settings. By using an Implementation Science framework, professional learning can address not only participants’ knowledge and skills, but also the systems, relationships, leadership support, resources, and ongoing coaching needed to sustain practice over time. This approach helps organizations move from one-time training to meaningful changes in adult practice and organizational culture, increasing the likelihood that Restorative Practices become embedded in everyday interactions, decision-making, and responses to conflict.
